Chorus
The tapestry of humanity is woven from the threads of lives entwined in destiny.
Stories abound painful attempts of royals to avoid their fates.
Noble Perseus was born from such travails.
His mother Danae impregnated by the golden seed of Zeus was entombed by her mortal father King Acrisius who being warned by the oracle feared his own death at the hands of her progeny.
But the Divine cannot be confined,
transcending space and time,
and even the meagre reflection of divinity can break free and thereby fulfill destiny.
Thus did Danae come to her liberation and Perseus was raised with another nation so that soon enough, Acrisius found his thread with life's tapestry to be of past magnificence.
When that oldest of divinity crosses ones path, there is no amount of gold that can purchase an extra minute or a sword that can fight the fatal hand of death.
Then there is the tale of Lycurgas, whose name today is a synonym for psychosis or self induced madness,
Lysurgic Acid Diamethylide, LSD.
This king's madness came from his desire to purify his personal Santorum.
He chose to oppose the holy Spirit of Dionysius
therefore place a prohibition upon the drinking of any libations, in particular wine.
Of course this was soon followed by the desire to extend the kingdom's laws to control the smallest details of people's lives in particular the lives of women and their reproduction.
Choosing to stand between the women of his kingdom and the Gods, he soon went mad and in his madness made an abortion of his grown son Dryas,
slicing him into a thousand pieces and then himself was torn apart limb from limb in the style of the Thracian people.
The wise observe their words and attitudes avoiding arrogance,
knowing the Gods weigh all deeds on the sacred scales of justice.
Ares, the God of war can break all bows,
strengthen the smallest warrior to steely eyed resolve and victory.
Whereas the mortal eye can be blinded,
the Divine Eye cannot be restrained or limited.
The Divine flow is never hindered
such that that those who are hungry are fed,
the childless gives birth to Seven Sisters.
Hermes and Persephone can pass through all barriers
even moving between the dimensions of life and death,
raising the dead and making life.
The Gods stand at the crossroads,
can move all traffic in any direction,
sending some to poverty, and some to wealth,
humbling the cruel and exalting those
whom you least expect to be raised from the ashes and seated at the right hand of the king.
The Gods not only set the foundations of the world,
they are the foundations of the universe,
our feet not only walk upon the land of the Divine,
they are part of that Divine,
guided by the Divine
therefore cannot stray from the Divine,
except by the will of the Divine.
The spirit who opens to the truth of the Gods is an ever present speaker of truth and channel of the Gods.
But those who oppose the path of compassion will be thrown into darkness and silence.
