me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.
The same hiding in God as in Ps. XXV: 14;
XXV11: 5; XXXI: 20.
The joyous nature of the Divine Spirit [verses 7 and 11] as in Ps. XXX: 11 and XXXV: 9.
Peace and Protection resulting from trust in God (verses 7, 10, 11).
All these blessings depend on sincerity of heart (verse 2).
Note the enveloping by the Divine Presence in verses 7 and 10. It “compasses about” us if we look to the Lord.
8 I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.

If He did not wish us to understand, why should He give the Bible?
9 Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding: whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, lest they come near unto thee.
Conversations of the soul with God. In verse 7 the soul speaks to God and in verses 3 and 9 God
