Below you will find information regarding the Masters Degree in New Thought Library Science:

Those who do not have a bachelors degree, but have completed practitioner studies, or its equivalent, must submit a "Summary of Educational Experience" for adjudication. Anyone accepted for the program must comply with applicable Terms of Service at all times to maintain Good Standing. Specific deadlines apply to projects. If you are given a specific project to work on such as a specific collection by a certain classic New Thought Author, you must complete your project within a reasonable time frame. Failure to do so means that the project you were assigned is not being pushed forward in a timely fashion. This can result in the project being reassigned to a different participant. If you have challenges, then communicate.

During your project, you will learn to effectively use the New Thought Library System.

Application is no guarantee of placement. Acceptance / placement is a privilege.

The Program

Those who are accepted into the program, whether as part of the ministry development programs or through any of the ancillary programs or applications, All participants must comply with all Terms of Use and Terms of Service at all times.

1. Collection Assignment

Each participant is assigned a collection to develop. Some collections are already assigned and thus may not be available. Early application is encouraged if you wish to have a broader spectrum of choice.

It is unlikely that you would be doing work in the Ernest Holmes Collection, or working on one of the Fillmores collections. Likewise if you wish to work on Emerson, Shinn, James or Brooks, you then you will need to submit a proposal regarding such a project. There have been so many books on these New Thought authors that we must be convinced that you will actually be making a creative contribution for us to support such work. The candidate must create an submit a thesis proposal which includes adherence to the requirements.

2. Basic Outline of thesis requirements.

• A thesis proposal must be written and accepted regarding the project proposed.
• The Thesis must comply with current university level Academic standards using MLA citations.
• It must be a minimum of 111 pages using a size 11 Verdana font.
• It will be a survey of the works processed with insight into the themes and teachings of the author and how they are applicable today.
• It must have a complete bibliography
• It must have a complete set of endnotes
• It must be in either Standard American English or in an Accepted Commonwealth English.
• When the thesis is completed, then upon the approval of his or her advisor, the program head and appropriate council members, a copy of the thesis will be placed within the library for public access.
• Upon award of the degree, the candidate may sell the book but must maintain credits within the book and upon the back cover of the book to New Thought Library and the NewThought.NET/work Serving New Thought along with those URL's.
• The candidate agrees to contribute 20% of the profits of the book to support the online New Thought Library (www.NewThoughtLibrary.com) and other programs which help to propagate New Thought Teachings.

Candidates for either the masters or doctoral programs must "Walk the Talk," thereby demonstrating the New Thought Principles they espouse through practicing what they teach. This includes being an active contributor supporting the programs maintained by the NewThought.NET/work Serving New Thought.

We only promote classes with the Universal New Thought seal of approval, meaning that they can be transferred between participating ministers and do not require you to physically travel to any location except voluntarily and are part of a curriculum that will lead to a definite qualification as long as you complete the requirements online.

Teachers are provided with a wide range of dynamic teaching tools which are already on our servers.

Teachers and institutions wishing to participate may submit class & course outlines working with us to insure that they fit within our overall Universal program so they can easily transfer.

Participating teachers work on tithing and donation basis. students pledge between one dollar and five dollars per day for one year per class. These tithes go directly to the spiritual teacher.

Teachers tithe 10% to support New Thought resources.

This program was created in response to seekers suggestions. So many seekers have wondered why the majority of online classes are expensive and don't always lead to qualification.

When seekers go to the majority of spiritual centers they are able to get tutelage on a tithing and donation basis. Now seekers are able to do the same when learning New Thought.
