REMOVING OBSTRUCTION
Question—Teaching is my profession. I completed my university course last June, and while I have all the requirements necessary to fill a teaching position, my lack of experience in such work has so far been a great drawback to me in my search for employment. I would like to know just how to work against this apparent obstruction, "inexperience," which has faced me wherever I have applied.

ANSWER—Obstruction is obstruction, no matter by what name it is called. If yours has been called "inexperience," it should be treated just as any other stumbling block would be. If you can believe that you can sidestep this hindrance, the way Will open for you to do so. Recognize that the inner Wisdom which contemplates you from the center of your being, sees no obstruction in your path, and, you know, it is from this center that all evolution emerges. Quoting from the SCIENCE OF MIND, "Every thought sets the Law in motion, specializing It for some definite purpose; in this (page 139) way the word becomes the law unto the thing spoken." So if you would be free forever from that word "inexperience," first drop it from your own contemplation as a power, and set about getting ready for your dem0nstration. Daily sit in meditation. This is vitally important. Once or twice is not enough. Persevere until your word returns to you, bearing the fruits of its seed. Realize, in meditation, that you are equipped for the certain, definite work of teaching, that you want a teaching position, and that there is such a position for you now in Divine Mind, and that you are established in it. This specializes the Law, and all its action is focused on producing the position you have deposited in Mind. Thank God that you have received your position, and believe this is true with all your heart. All outlining is left to Mind, which knows how to execute the pattern you give it, and sets whatever agencies that are necessary to work to that end. Know in your conscious mind that "inexperience" is a false power, and that it has no claim on you, and cannot stand in the presence of your spoken word. Be at discouraged if you meet it again and again. You have obliterated it by denying it power, and it must fade from the picture to trouble you no more. For your word is God in action, and since God is for you, who can be against you?
