MEETING OBLIGATIONS
Question—My husband is fine, honorable and loving, but without a background of belief in orthodox religion. He has been trying to apply New Thought principles, but suffers from fear, anxiety and worry. He has too little confidence in himself to drive a car, which is a handicap in his business. We have considerable excellent vacant property which we cannot turn to meet our honest obligations, something we have always met. How may we demonstrate freedom from these limitations?

ANSWER-I should work to know that everything in my life and affairs is controlled by Divine Intelligence and by this I mean to take a definite time every day to declare that the Spirit of Intelligence is guiding and controlling everything in my life, meeting all my needs and supplying every desire which is legitimate. I should not worry about my husband's religion but leave him intellectually and spiritually free. We are all individuals and each must light his own particular path to the City of Perfection.

LAW OF NON-RESISTANCE
Question—Is the law of non-resistance the law to use when caught in undesirable business relations?

ANSWER—We must understand that non-resistance does not mean saying everything is all right when it is all wrong. It is the non-recognition of the reality and the vitality of the wrong, and the non-resistance to it as though it were an entity and the active, conscious and aggressive recognition of the right. It is the denial of the error and the affirmation of the truth. We should not just sit down and say it is right, if it is wrong, but should know that the wrong has no power and the right is manifest.
