HABIT OF NOT SLEEPING
Question—I would like your opinion and advice for one who has forgotten how to sleep. I have no worries; it must be a habit, but I feel as though it would be a miracle if it were overcome.
ANSWER-If you are quite sure that your wakefulness is not due to subjective worry or anxiety, spend these night hours in constructive mental work. Ask the Infinite Indwelling Spirit of Peace to reveal to you the nature of the thing that is claiming the hours that should be spent in sleep. Work definitely and specifically for Peace, and declare, "I am right here and now in the Presence of God and in that Divine Presence there is no tension, n0 struggle, no fear. This Infinite Peace pours itself into my being and I am now relaxed in peace and sleep. The all-powerful Mind of the Indwelling Christ within me dissolves all sense of wakefulness and I am at peace." Do not, however, be disturbed about this condition. Some of the world's best poets and writers have received their highest inspiration during the quiet hours of the night, but I am certain that you cannot successfully

remain awake if your work is definite. Your word is all power and when it is linked to a living faith, there is nothing impossible to accomplish.
