FEAR OF CONTAGION
Question—A little boy who had been a playmate of my two children died after a sudden and very short illness which was said to be highly infectious. I have tried to keep myself calm and unafraid, but have been alarmed for my children. How shall I treat?

ANSWER—Recognize that no belief of the human mind acting through contagion or false suggestion can in any way have power over you or your children. In the 91st Psalm it is written: "A thousand shall fall at thy side and ten thousand at thy right hand but it shall not come nigh thee." This is the platform on which you must stand firmly. Know from the very center of your being that "He hath given His Angels charge" over your children and that no harmful thing or condition can come nigh them. The Angels are your own protective thoughts in the realm of absolute Truth and they wrap them in invulnerable security. Speak your word for divine protection for your children FEARLESSLY.

Say daily: "No harmful thing can touch him (your child— NAMING him) for Divine Love protects him." Born of the Spirit, your child is changeless, perfect, and completely safe and secure in Divine Mind. Form your treatment in your own words, and treat each child, believing your idea is the truth about them.

MENTAL TREATMENT FOR CHILDREN
Question—Is it easier to treat a child mentally than it is to give treatment to an adult?

ANSWER—It is generally easier to treat a child than an adult. The child has had less experience and is less marked, (page 69) subjectively. Hence, there is usually a greater receptivity on the part of the child than there is in an adult.
