HEARING
Question—Can you help me to attain greater harmony with the mental laws so as to improve my hearing, which is impaired?

ANSWER—Hearing is a divine idea in Mind and all divine ideas are perfect. Ideas have a service to render to the Spirit of man, and as long as man expects and accepts wholeheartedly that service, and cooperates consciously and subjectively with it, there is nothing to oppose the functioning of the physical instruments through which Ideas operate. Treat to know that your hearing is perfect, that it is God hearing through you. There is no belief in inaction that in any way can hinder your hearing, for every idea of your body is now complete and perfect and functions according to the Divine Law. Be open and receptive to the Truth.

NO SEPARATION IN MIND
Question I live in Santa Barbara. Can I help my brother in Nebraska recover from an operation which has been performed in a hospital there?

ANSWER—There is no separation in Divine Mind. Divine Mind is Omnipresent, Omnipotent, Omniscient, perfect and complete and It knows no particular geographical point as being near or distant. Realize the truth of this completeness and perfection at the point of call—the point of call then becomes the place where spiritual and mental work is done since the individual I is included in the universal I AM- NESS. Thus you can see that your brother can be reached as effectively in a Nebraska hospital as can a person sitting within reach and hearing. Mind is immutable and eternal and what (page 64) it knows at one point it knows at all points at the same instant and with the same force.
