GOD NEVER TESTS US
Question—Does God test us to see if we are fit to enter the Kingdom of Heaven?
ANSWER—The kingdom of heaven is the place within ourselves where there is universal and individual peace at all times; peace that holds no element of doubt of one's abiding good and Divine, wise protection. To enter such a place, all that is necessary is to recognize that it exists exactly where Jesus taught us to seek it—with ourselves. We cannot contemplate such a place very long without taking on all the blessed attributes of its divinity, and we become Peace, Itself.
God never tests us to see if we are fit for anything. God, within us, knows exactly what we are, which is nothing less than individualized centers of Himself. Man, having mental freedom, chooses to test himself sometimes, and finds himself wanting. That is, he discovers lack in his understanding. for if he had not the lack, he would never fail of his demonstration.
Sickness, inharmonies of many kinds, are often considered
(page 9) as tests of the great loving God, but such is never the case. God knows nothing of tests. God knows only Perfect Being. Perfect Being is Peace, the kingdom of heaven. When we can contact that place within our consciousness, we are in the kingdom.
