I have set the Lord always before my face, therefore my heart is glad and my flesh resteth in confidence.
I have faith in Thee as my unfailing resource, and I am in all ways prospered.

The Psalms constituted the hymnbook of the early church, and no finer example of religious fervor and devotion and literary excellence can be found in the lyrics of any people.
